The Fund supported the restoration of the “Tree of Hope” memorial at the Riga Ghetto and Latvian Holocaust Museum following damage sustained in 2023.
As part of the project, the memorial’s structures and leaves were dismantled, metal elements were restored, and the object was reinstalled, repairing damaged parts while preserving its artistic and symbolic value. As a result, the “Tree of Hope” was fully restored and safely reinstalled, ensuring its long-term preservation and accessibility to the public.
The restored “Tree of Hope” continues to honor 456 courageous individuals who rescued Jews during the Holocaust, while strengthening the preservation of historical memory and public awareness.
Fund support: EUR 2,000.
