With the support of the fund, Bruno is receiving year-long ABA therapy (Applied Behavioral Analysis) — a method focused on the development of functional and speech skills. This approach is very popular and an excellent form of intervention, particularly for children with autism spectrum disorders. The goal of the therapy is to build basic communication skills, correct unwanted behaviors, reduce developmental delays, and bring his skills closer to age norms.

At 1.5 years old, Bruno’s parents began noticing that something was not right with his development — he did not respond to his name, exhibited aggressive behavior, did not speak, and did not understand speech. Doctors diagnosed Bruno with childhood autism and speech delay. As a result, ABA sessions are currently very important for Bruno, especially in the early stages. They are intensive — 40 hours per month — and conducted through play. The sessions focus on collaboration and interaction with adults to help Bruno develop the ability to learn in the future.

The fund’s support amounts to 14,000 EUR.
