Arianna had a severely deviated nasal septum, which significantly impaired her breathing and was also associated with nasal deformity. For medical reasons, she required complex reconstructive surgery to restore the cartilaginous structure of her nose using cartilage from a rib.
The Foundation’s support helped cover part of the surgery costs and gave Arianna the opportunity to receive the necessary treatment to improve her breathing function and, consequently, her quality of everyday life.
