In December, as part of the “Kopā vieglāk” (Easier Together) charity project, we delivered 122 food packages to families across Latvia. Each parcel is carefully prepared, and the most meaningful part is hearing from recipients whose lives we touch.
Here’s a message we received via our partner – “Palīdzēsim.lv”, from Lana – a mother living in the countryside:
“Every time I get the message that a package has arrived, it feels like a small celebration. And opening it – like Christmas, unwrapping gifts filled with joy and gratitude.
I always read the “Kopā vieglāk” (Easier Together) team’s note first – it’s full of warmth, love, and sincere care.
The kids enjoy the sweets and surprises, and I turn the products into hearty meals for the whole family.
Living in the countryside, we don’t always have time or access to shops – that’s why having something from the package is a true gift.
