Since the beginning of this year until the end of August, 115 residents of the “Cat’s Heart” (“Kaķa sirds”) shelter have found their forever homes. September has also started on a positive note: 4 cats have already been adopted, 2 more adoptions are planned, and 3 foster cats are likely to become permanent family members.

Heartwarming stories:

– Alfiņš, a cat with neurological issues, is now living in a loving home together with another of our previously adopted cats.

– Duņa, who spent over four years in the shelter, is now learning to trust people in her new home, alongside her brother Princis – a cat who went from hiding under the bed to becoming the family’s favorite companion.

– Aisa, a 13-year-old cat who came from extremely poor conditions, weak and ill, has now recovered and is ready to move into her new home.

“Cat’s Heart” – a shelter and veterinary clinic under one roof – was created to help animals in need, those without shelter or care. It not only saves lives but also raises public awareness of the importance of animal welfare and how essential it is to care, respect, and help.

The project was created through the collaboration of “LNK Charity Fund”, and the “Remi Cat Assistance Center”, and it has already resulted in hundreds of new, happy stories.
