A heartfelt thank you to the LNK Charity Fund for financial support! “Drauga Spārns” is the only organization in Latvia that voluntarily cares for and treats helpless wild birds, providing assistance to thousands of feathered patients every year. Thanks to the fund’s support, we were able to purchase specialized food for waterfowl and insectivorous birds, ensuring that swans, ducks, swifts, swallows, and many others received quality nutrition for several months. This support was especially crucial during the winter season when food availability is limited. Your help is essential in allowing these birds to recover and return to the wild. We sincerely appreciate your responsiveness and support at the right moment!

We have been cooperating with the LNK Charity Fund since 2022, implementing sports projects for children from orphanages, including martial arts classes, swimming lessons, and football. This year, thanks to LNK Charity and Cement Trade SIA, we installed a children’s sports and playground for the children of Kraslava. It is important for us to provide children with what they lack so they can feel like full-fledged members of society, both now and in the future. Together, we have embarked on a journey to make Latvia a better place for pets and people through companionship and support for those in need—caring for and rehabilitating stray cats on their path to a new, better life in permanent families, as well as assisting less protected groups in society, such as the elderly and low-income families, and helping the pets of families facing challenging circumstances.

Ensuring equal opportunities for children with disabilities is an important goal that requires the collaboration of many qualified specialists. The partnership with the LNK Charity Fund gave more than 100 children from various cities in Latvia the chance to participate in parasport events and camps. Sports activities are vital for the development of children with disabilities. Our aim is to make them a regular part of daily life, accessible to every child who wishes to participate.
